[UPDATE] Spider-Man: Drew Goddard regista e sceneggiatore del film, nuove informazioni sul film

UPDATE: stando a The Wrap, Goddard non avrebbe ancora incontrato la Marvel ma "lo farà nei prossimi giorni". Quel che fa notare Jeff Sneider è che Goddard dovrebbe aver già discusso della possibilità con Sony ma "Marvel avrà l'ultima parola sul suo ingaggio". Lo studio, nel frattempo, incontrerà anche altri registi, nel caso Drew Goddard rifiutasse l'incarico. 

A quanto pare, quando Steven S. DeKnight ha difeso Drew Goddard su Twitter, significava veramente qualcosa... eh si, perché secondo Latino Review, la Sony e la Marvel avrebbero già un regista a bordo del nuovo Spider-Man.
Stando al sito, Drew Goddard sarà il regista e sceneggiatore di questo nuovo reboot che, stando alle voci di corridoio, potrebbe titolarsi The Spectacular Spider-Man; Goddard stava lavorando allo spin-off sui Sinistri Sei della Sony che, per ora, è stato accantonato. 
Il sito, inoltre, spiega che, nonostante gli ultimi rumor, è improbabile che Dylan O'Brien finirà per interpretare l'Uomo Ragno al cinema, per via degli altri impegni presi in precedenza e perché già 23enne. Inoltre, Latino Review afferma che:
    1. Non ci saranno origini per Spider-Man. Esisterà già in questo universo.
    2. La Sony e la Marvel vogliono un nuovo attore piuttosto giovane - possibilmente sconosciuto - perché il loro Peter Parker sarà al liceo e vogliono che "l'attore cresca nel ruolo" (pensate ad Harry Potter). 
    3. Una parte importante del primo film prevede che Spidey combatta Iron Man per poi provare a passare il 'provino' per unirsi ai Vendicatori.
    4. Il primo film vedrà Spider-Man combattere i Sinistri Sei, per poi - potenzialmente - dare semaforo verde al famoso spin-off su di loro.

Londonderry explosion: 'Firebomb' explodes in Everglades Hotel

No-one was injured in the explosion but the reception area was extensively damaged A masked man has thrown what police have described as a "firebomb" into the reception area of a Londonderry hotel. Thailand army continues crackdown after coup

Thailand's military has ordered 35 more people, including prominent academics, to report to them by Saturday afternoon as the post-coup crackdown continues. The move comes a day after the army ordered more than 100 politicians, including ex-PM Yingluck Shinawatra, to come to the military council. Ms Yingluck was detained in Bangkok on Friday and spent the night in custody. Many on the army's latest list have previously been charged with speaking or acting against the monarchy. Meanwhile, several hundred protesters have taken to the streets of Bangkok to show their anger at military's seizure of power, defying a ban on large gatherings. Anti-coup banners were unfurled as they arrived at Victory Monument. Officials said the former prime minister would not be held for more than a week but insisted that her detention was necessary while matters in the country were "organised".
