Yemen, Aden sotto attacco. Il presidente Hadi fugge via mare

Il presidente dello Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi ha lasciato il Paese a bordo di un'imbarcazione partita da Aden. Lo hanno dichiarato alcuni funzionari yemeniti interpellati dall'Associated Press. Questo mentre il sito del quotidiano egiziano Al Ahram ha scritto che esisterebbe «un'offerta» di mediazione per venire a capo del caos in cui è piombato il Paese. «L'accordo, che è stato svelato dal capo della polizia militare di Aden, prevede che le forze armate non si impegnino in uno scontro diretto con le milizie houthi e che i ribelli sciiti» nominino «un presidente ad interim houthi» di cui il ministro della Difesa Mahmud Al Subaihi diventerebbe «il suo vice, rappresentando il sud». No-one was injured in the explosion but the reception area was extensively damaged A masked man has thrown what police have described as a "firebomb" into the reception area of a Londonderry hotel. Thailand army continues crackdown after coup

Thailand's military has ordered 35 more people, including prominent academics, to report to them by Saturday afternoon as the post-coup crackdown continues. The move comes a day after the army ordered more than 100 politicians, including ex-PM Yingluck Shinawatra, to come to the military council. Ms Yingluck was detained in Bangkok on Friday and spent the night in custody. Many on the army's latest list have previously been charged with speaking or acting against the monarchy. Meanwhile, several hundred protesters have taken to the streets of Bangkok to show their anger at military's seizure of power, defying a ban on large gatherings. Anti-coup banners were unfurled as they arrived at Victory Monument.
