Sony abbandona il trademark di The Last Guardian

Stando ad un aggiornamento effettuato su sito web dell'ufficio treadmark statunitense, pare che Sony abbia abbandonato il marchio di The Last Guardian.
Il colosso giapponese non ha richiesto un'estensione per l'uso del treadmark e questo ha sollevato diverse speculazioni, tra cui la cancellazione del gioco. Il progetto, annunciato nel 2009 per PlayStation 3, ha vissuto uno sviluppo molto travagliato e lo stato dei lavori attuale è tutt'ora sconosciuto al pubblico, nonostante Shuhei Yoshida (boss di Sony Worldwide Studios) abbia più volte rassicurato i fan garantendo la continuazione dello sviluppo. L'abbandono del marchio non significa necessariamente che la società abbia terminato i lavori, ma potrebbe anticipare un cambio di nome.

Thailand army continues crackdown after coup

Thailand's military has ordered 35 more people, including prominent academics, to report to them by Saturday afternoon as the post-coup crackdown continues. The move comes a day after the army ordered more than 100 politicians, including ex-PM Yingluck Shinawatra, to come to the military council. Ms Yingluck was detained in Bangkok on Friday and spent the night in custody. Many on the army's latest list have previously been charged with speaking or acting against the monarchy. Meanwhile, several hundred protesters have taken to the streets of Bangkok to show their anger at military's seizure of power, defying a ban on large gatherings. Anti-coup banners were unfurled as they arrived at Victory Monument.
