Facebook entra nel mondo dell'e-commerce, parte la sfida ad eBay

Facebook è pronta a fare concorrenza anche ad eBay, puntando molto sulla propria base d'utenti. Come notato da molti utenti, nel momento in cui si prova ad inviare un post nei gruppi sarà possibile selezionare la funzione “vendi”, che consente ai membri di aggiungere una descrizione di ciò che hanno intenzione di vendere, le informazioni sulla spedizione ed ovviamente il prezzo.
Dopo la creazione il post potrà essere modificato a seconda delle esigenze: ad esempio, si potrà flaggare l'opzione “Disponibile” o “Venduto”, a seconda dello stato dell'asta, mentre gli interessati potranno anche visualizzare le precedenti compravendite per consultare i feedback, oltre che capire l'affidabilità del venditore.
Le nuove funzioni arriveranno nel giro di qualche mese sia sulle applicazioni mobile che sulla versione web del social network di Mark Zuckerberg.

Thailand army continues crackdown after coup

Thailand's military has ordered 35 more people, including prominent academics, to report to them by Saturday afternoon as the post-coup crackdown continues. The move comes a day after the army ordered more than 100 politicians, including ex-PM Yingluck Shinawatra, to come to the military council. Ms Yingluck was detained in Bangkok on Friday and spent the night in custody. Many on the army's latest list have previously been charged with speaking or acting against the monarchy. Meanwhile, several hundred protesters have taken to the streets of Bangkok to show their anger at military's seizure of power, defying a ban on large gatherings. Anti-coup banners were unfurled as they arrived at Victory Monument.
