iPhone 5s: in Giappone le vendite sono calate clamorosamente

La BCN, società d’analisi nipponica, ha pubblicato nelle scorse ore un report sul numero di iPhone 5s venduti nel territorio del Sol Levante nel mese di aprile e i risultati non sono per nulla positivi per la Mela. A marzo Apple ha venduto 3.9 milioni di iPhone 5s in Giappone. Ad Aprile invece, le vendite sono calate dell’85%, raggiungendo quota 570 mila. Anche l’iPhone 5c ha subito un crollo simile: da 430mila unità vendute a marzo a 150mila vendute ad aprile (-65%).
Uno dei motivi alla base di questo clamoroso crollo risiede nell’aumento delle imposte che il governo nipponico ha applicato sulle vendite a partire dall’1 aprile: dal 5 all’8 per cento. Durante il primo trimestre fiscale 2014 in Giappone sono stati venduti 8 milioni di iPhone, circa il 18% delle vendite totali (43.7 milioni). Il modello più venduto di iPhone 5s per la settimana conclusasi il 25 maggio è stato quello da 16 GB. Ai primi due posti della classifica nipponica di vendita degli smartphone per queste ultime settimane non c’è posto per i melafonini. A trionfare infatti, sono i padroni di casa di Sony con i modelli Xperia.

Costruito sul modello dell'uomo, si muove con grande libertà e può valutare situazioni critiche. Valkyrie, il robot della Nasa. Thailand army continues crackdown after coup

Thailand's military has ordered 35 more people, including prominent academics, to report to them by Saturday afternoon as the post-coup crackdown continues. The move comes a day after the army ordered more than 100 politicians, including ex-PM Yingluck Shinawatra, to come to the military council. Ms Yingluck was detained in Bangkok on Friday and spent the night in custody. Many on the army's latest list have previously been charged with speaking or acting against the monarchy. Meanwhile, several hundred protesters have taken to the streets of Bangkok to show their anger at military's seizure of power, defying a ban on large gatherings. Anti-coup banners were unfurled as they arrived at Victory Monument. Officials said the former prime minister would not be held for more than a week but insisted that her detention was necessary while matters in the country were "organised".
