GameStop: tre malviventi hanno rapinato un negozio della catena a Houston durante l'evento di lancio GTA 5

Tre malviventi a volto coperto hanno assaltato un negozio della catena GameStop a Houston (in Texas) alle 21:30 di lunedì 17 novembre: fuori dallo store erano presenti moltissimi ragazzi in coda per ritirare la propria copia di Grand Theft Auto 5.
Uno dei banditi si è subito diretto verso la cassa del negozio mentre un giovane è stato stordito con il taser ed ha subito il furto del portafoglio e dello smartphone, dovendo infine ricorrere alle cure dei sanitari a causa del forte shock. Dopo aver preso il bottino, i tre sono scappati, facendo perdere le proprie tracce. Fortunatamente non ci sono stati altri feriti durante la rapina.

Thailand army continues crackdown after coup

Thailand's military has ordered 35 more people, including prominent academics, to report to them by Saturday afternoon as the post-coup crackdown continues. The move comes a day after the army ordered more than 100 politicians, including ex-PM Yingluck Shinawatra, to come to the military council. Ms Yingluck was detained in Bangkok on Friday and spent the night in custody. Many on the army's latest list have previously been charged with speaking or acting against the monarchy. Meanwhile, several hundred protesters have taken to the streets of Bangkok to show their anger at military's seizure of power, defying a ban on large gatherings.
